i try to insert break-point on my native code
i am getting
stopped,reason="exited-signalled",signal-name="SIGTRAP",signal-
meaning="Trace/breakpoint trap"
but when i tested on hello-jni it works fine
i refered to Debugging through the JNI with Android 2.2 posted on here
my enviorment is Android 2.2 + eclipse CDT 7.0 + ADT + ndk4rb with
windows xp platform

How to fail Maven build when exec started Ant build fails?

How can I make the Maven build fail if the Ant build that was starten via
exec-maven-plugin fails?
I'm modifying an existing Ant build so it will build on Bamboo. The easiest
way to get all the dependecies sorted out was to wrap it in a Maven build.
An added complication was that some added tasks run only with Ant 1.5.x so I
couldn't use maven-antrun-plugin but I got it working using
exec-maven-plugin.
I got my build working locally and on Bamboo. One issue I still have is that
when the Ant build fails, the Maven build continues and ends successful.
What do I need to do to fail the Maven build if the Ant build fails?

bge hangs on recent 7.3-STABLE

Hi,
I have several hosts running FreeBSD/amd64 7.2-STABLE updated on 11.01.2010
and 25.02.2010. Hosts process about 10K input and 10K output packets/s
without issues. One of them, however, is loaded more than others, so it
processes 20K/20K packets/s.
Recently, I have upgraded one host to 7.3-STABLE, 24.08.2010.
Then bge on this host hung two times. I was able to restart it from
console using:
/etc/rc.d/netif restart bge0
Then I have upgraded the most loaded (20K/20K) host to 7.3-STABLE, 07.09.2010.
After reboot bge hung every several seconds. I was able to restart it,
but bge hung again after several seconds.
Then I have downgraded this host to 7.3-STABLE, 14.08.2010, since there
were several if-bge.c commits on 15.08.2010. The same hangs.
Then I have downgraded this host to 7.3-STABLE, 17.03.2010, before
the first if-bge.c commit after 25.02.2010. Now it runs without hangs.
The hosts are amd64 dual core SMP with 4G machines. bge information:

Changes for this functionality were made to following sources :

Changes are encapsulated in two new functions in td-zpool.c, namely :
td-zpool-import-find()
td-zpool-import-add()
And the calling of td-zpool-import-find() from td-zpool-discover().
- td-zpool.h :
New internal td-zpool-info-t structure element, to state whether
importable zpool or not.
boolean-t import;
- td-api.h :
Add new nvpair attribute definition for import.
- test-td.c :
Printing of zpools indicating whether importable or not.

MFC's CString in android what solution would be better?

it uses CString. Now I am writing my own CString based on wxWidgets
version of this class. And I wonder : is it probably better to use
wxWidgets library in android, and how do I do it?

Audio Effect Plugins

Hi everyone,
I have a sound recorder and editor app on the market, and I'm currently working
on audio effects, such as reverb, compression, etc..
For this purpose I will very likely use LADSPA plugins, which are in their vast
majority GPL licensed. This is a bit controversial, but according to my
googling, it is quite ok to load GPL plugins into a closed source app. But, the
plugins really need to be plugins, that is distributed as separated packages.
That said, this isn't only about legal stuff. I am seeing great opportunities
for the Android ecosystem concerning such audio plugins. I think that the high
interoperability abilities between apps (through intent filters, content
providers, etc..) is a great strength of the platform.
Therefore, if us developers were able to agree on some particular audio plugin
paradigm and discovery system, the Android audio world could become very
attractive to both users and developers.
In my current idea, a package (= an app on the market) may contain several
plugins, and there might be several packages from various vendors. Here,
discovery of the plugins by a given host should be quite easy to achieve by
using queryIntentServices() where each plugin package would expose a service
with a pre-defined intent filter. A content provider could also be used for
retrieving information about the bundled plugin.
Now, in regard to loading and communicating with a plugin, there are many
possibilities, some very complex. Right now, I am thinking about a very simple
first mechanism, where a host can retrieve LADSPA shared objects from a plugin
package through a content provider exposed by the said package. This will allow
for high performance by loading the .so in my native audio engine.
This is a very simple mechanism, though with some work, I believe that it should
be possible to distribute and load plugins which come with a UI, just as desktop
users do with VST instruments.
That said, what do you think about the general idea? Would some of you be
interested by such an audio plugin system?

Is there any way possible (aside from write a script to generate modified
files) to update, checkout or otherwise fetch files from svn *without*
having it honour the svn:keywords property (and without permanently removing
said property)?
This is for the purposes of doing some out-of-repo difference checking.
I have one set of files with unexpanded headers (as if they were about to
freshly be added), and another from a repo. with expanded headers, and of
course they all show up as different.

How to implement single-select functionality for a set of buttons?

Hi All,
I just wanted to ask how to go about creating a component that would mimic
radio group or dropdown choice functionality, but be displayed as a set of
buttons? Basically the choices would be displayed as toggle buttons. When
pressing a button, it would be activated and the model changed to that value
(as with a dropdown/radio group), with the others deselected. How would I go
about implementing this? I saw the AbstractSingleSelectChoice class, which I
extended, but I'm a bit unclear how the component is supposed to create the
buttons representing the choices and the logic for selecting and updating
the model. etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi :) Are we talking about a bootloader that can be used inside a customised Cd? Could grub2 be installed to hard-drive and dynamically include a menu item for LiveCd if it found an Ubuntu or other distros CD in the cd/dvd-drive? I am not sure the complexity would be worth it? If it could be done in some simple way then could it also boot iso files found in a specific location? Again i am more curious about people's thoughts rather than thinking we really need this level of functionality. Regards from Tom :)

Bug in Speedbar

The bug is, I believe, in speedbar. To reproduce,
1. Edit in C++ mode.
2. Open speedbar.
3. When the cursor is on the "Variables" section, press space to open
the menu and then space to close. Emacs crashes with a segmentation
fault.
I might add I am using semantic in C++ mode and sr-speedbar is also being used.
I'm not sure if this bug has already been reported.
