I am guessing that pkgin doesn't recognize a package name with a number
at the end so thought the dependency was not p5-Digest-MD5 but p5-Digest
(no -MD5) -- see above how it attempts to reinstall wrong package.
(But that doesn't explain why p5-Compress-Raw-Bzip2 worked.)
